Split screen. Left: a chef staring at a full Thanksgiving dinner order ticket -- turkey, 6 sides, 3 desserts, drinks -- looking overwhelmed. Right: the same chef with the order broken into stations: Station 1 (turkey), Station 2 (sides), Station 3 (desserts), each with a clear sub-list. Chef looking calm. Kitchen illustration.

One order ticket vs. five station tickets.

A single order for a Thanksgiving dinner: turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, stuffing, pumpkin pie, apple pie, rolls, drinks. One chef, one ticket, everything at once. Chaos.

Same dinner, broken into stations. Station 1: turkey (2 hours). Station 2: sides (45 min, starts at hour 1). Station 3: desserts (1 hour, can start immediately). Station 4: drinks (5 min, last). Each station gets a clear list.

The food is the same. The approach determines whether it's ready on time or a disaster.
