Person
A film set. Director sits in a chair, calling shots. Camera operator adjusts lens. Sound engineer monitors levels on headphones. Editor reviews footage on a laptop. Each person focused on their specialty. The director touches no equipment.

A film crew. Director says "get me a sunset shot."

Camera operator handles the camera. Sound engineer handles audio. Editor assembles footage. The director doesn't do the work -- they coordinate specialists.

Each person has one skill. The director has one job: decide who does what, when. No director has ever been a better camera operator than the camera operator. That's not the point.

The director doesn't do the work. They orchestrate it.
